    Seven moderately hydrated male subjects experienced 1 hr. of exposure to 6 conditions of chair rest, immersion, and hypnosis on separate days. Head-out, neutral-temperature immersion produced significant diuresis characterized by increases in free-water clearance, osmolar clearance, and sodium excretion.
