Fuel use in ancient Southwest Asia based on wood charcoal and seed data from fire installations
Plant ways in Middle Bronze Age Anatolia—an archaeological interpretation of phytoliths and other plant remains from Zincirli Höyük, Türkiye
This paper presents the results of phytolith analysis from Middle Bronze Age II (1800–1600 bce ) Zincirli Höyük, Türkiye. An estate at Zincirli? Land use and resource exploitation at the Middle Bronze Age monumental building Complex DD in Zincirli, Gaziantep Province of Turkey

Combining seed/fruit/chaff analysis with c…
The Development of the Southeast Lower Town of Sirkeli Höyük
The site of Sirkeli Höyük in the province of Adana in modern Turkey is one of the largest settlement mounds in Plain Cilicia. To gain information on the dating and development of this part of the settlement, an excavation area (“Sector F”) was opened at a spot where the…

The period that follows has historically been characterized as an era of cultural devolution marked by profound social and political disruption.
