    A Pahlavi text entitled Ayadgar i Zareran (AZ) relates the legendary battle between Vištasp, Kayanian king, and Arjasp, king of Xyons. § § 17-21 of AZ describe the answer made by Zarer, Vištasp's brother, to Arjasp's demand that Vištasp should abandon Zoroastrianism.
