Meron: A Late Roman–Ottoman Settlement (pp. 125–142)
Ḥorbat Duvshan: A ‘Golan’ Chalcolithic Site in Eastern Galilee (pp. 19–35)
The site lies in the center of the Korazim Plateau, which extends from the Hula Valley southward to the Sea of Galilee. Three squares were excavated: two (Sqs 1, 3) revealed the remains of very poorly preserved structures dating to the Late Chalcolithic period, and the third (Sq 2), a portion of a structure or complex rich in ceramic finds. Symptom Duration and Risk Factors for Delayed Return to Usual Health Among Outpatients with Covid-19 in a Multistate Health Care Systems Network — United States, March–June 2020
Prolonged symptom duration and disability are common in adults hospitalized with severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Characterizing return to baseline health among outpatients with milder COVID-19 illness is important for understanding the full spectrum of COVID-19-associated illness and tailoring public health messaging, interventions, and policy. During April 15-June 25, 2020, telephone interviews were conducted with a random sample of …

The Peqi'in Cave: A Chalcolithic Cemetery in Upper Galilee, Israel
In May 1995, a unique Chalcolithic burial cave was discovered at Peqi‘in, Upper Galilee, Israel. Surprisingly, since Chalcolithic burial caves were known mainly on Israel’s coastal plain, this natural cave yielded one of the richest assemblages of ossuaries, burial jars, and other ceramic vessels ever found, many bearing iconographic presentations hitherto unknown. The cave also contained the skeletal remains of at least six hundred individuals. …
Horbat 'Uza
This is the first of two volumes documenting the IAA excavations at this site in the ‘Akko Plain. This volume presents the early periods, including occupation during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic to the Chalcolithic periods, with significant pottery and flint finds, then a substantial EB IA settlement, an Intermediate Bronze Age settlement and an ephemeral presence in the Late Bronze Age, as evidenced by the pottery finds. The site lay in ruins throu…

Dating a Chalcolithic Burial Cave in Peqi'in, Upper Galilee, Israel
In May 1995 an impressive karstic cave possessing dozens of burials dating to the main phase of the Chalcolithic Period ( ca. 4500–3500 bce) was discovered in Peqi'in in the high hills of Galilee in northern Israel. It was subsequently excavated over the course of the following months. The large amount of unique ceramic ossuaries and the variety of burial offerings shed light, for the first time, on this critical societal development period in a …
