Open Access•Jalang Conteh, Maureen Lahiff et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Women in Ghana who seek abortion for reasons not deemed legal are at a significantly higher risk of obtaining less safe and least safe abortions. • Early childhood factors associated with obesity at age 8 in Vietnamese children

Open Access•Tuyen D Nguyen, Tuyen Nguyen et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2021

We found that increased consumption of powdered milk, honey/sugar, packaged sweets, and prepared restaurants/fast foods are associated with childhood ow/ob. In contrast, breastfeeding for 6 months or longer was protective against childhood ow/ob. These findings suggest that public health programs and campaigns aimed to prevent childhood ow/ob in Vietnam should target early feeding practices

    Shasta Ferranto, Lynn Huntsinger et al.•ARTICLE•Society & Natural Resources•2013•Cited by: 12•References: 6

Ecosystem management requires cross-jurisdictional problem-solving and, when private lands are involved, cross-boundary cooperation from many individual landowners. Fragmented ownership patterns and variation in ownership values, as well as distrust and transaction costs, can limit cooperation. Results from a landowner survey in California were analyzed using an audience segmentation approach. Landowners were grouped into four clusters according …
