Para determinar a prevalência de geo-helmintíases e identificar fatores associados a sua ocorrência, foram realizados inquéritos coprológicos em amostra de crianças entre 5 e 14 anos de idade, residentes em dez municípios brasileiros com baixo Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano.
