  • Analysis of barriers for sustainable agro-food supply chain: An interpretive structural modeling and Micmac approach

Open Access•Kuldeep Singh, Rebecca Abraham et al.•ARTICLE•Environment Development and…•2023

  • Chromosome Damage in Nickle - Chrome Electroplaters

    Open Access•J S Yadav, A S Yadav et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•2001

The type of electroplaters in the present study are the ones dealing with Nickel-chrome electroplating. Heparinized venous blood samples were collected from 68 electroplaters and equal number of matched controls. Genotoxicity was investigated by assaying mitotic index (Ml), chromosome aberrations (CA), sister chromatid exchanges (SCE) and satellite associations (SA) in short term lymphocyte cultures. The mean frequency of MI was 5.77 ± 1.77, CA 3…

  • Blood Group Variation in Selected Caste Populations of Haryana

Open Access•J S Yadav, Mandeep Kaur et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•1997

Data are presented on phenotypes and allele frequencies of the A1, A2, BO. MN and Rh(D) blood groups in seven selected endogamous caste population of Haryana. a north west Indian state. The distribution of each of these serological markers was found to be rather heterogeneous in in the present caste material, albeit generally resembling that observed in various of the populations inhabiting north-west India, especially the neighbouring state of P…

  • A Study on The Distrubution of Morphological and Behavioural Traits in Seven Endogamous Groups of Haryana

Open Access•J S Yadav, Harvinder Kaur et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•1997

Baseline data are provided on the distribution of ear-lobe attachment. hand-clasping. arm-folding, leg folding and handedness among seven endogamous groups of Haryana viz., Od. Pal-gadariya. Sunar. Balmiki. Jheen-var, Khati and Sansi. All these traits, except hand-clasping, showed significant differences among them

  • Incidence of Colour-Blindness in Eleven Endogamous Caste Groups of Haryana, India

Open Access•J S Yadav, Maninder Kaur et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•1995

Prevalence of colour-blindness in eleven endogamous groups of Haryana viz. Jat, Ahir, Ror, Saini, Kamboj, Kumhar, Chamar, Brahmin, Bania, Rajput and Gujjar has been studied. The incidence of this trait was found to vary from nil in Brahmin to as high as 10.13% in Kamboj. Overall, it showed a heterogeneous distribution in the present material

  • Studies on Morphological and Behavioural Traits in Eleven Endogamous Groups of Haryana

    Open Access•J S Yadav, A S Yadav et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Human Ecology•1994

In the present study the distributions of a morphological trait-ear-lobe attachment and four behavioural traits hand clasping, arm-folding, handedness and leg-folding have been reported among eleven endogamous groups of Haryana – Brahmin, Bania. Rajput. Gujjar. Ahir, Jat, Saini, Kamboj, Ror. Kumhar and Chamar Barring ear-lobe attachment and leg-folding, the remaining trails showed no significant differences. The frequency of traits studied here f…
