Poverty in Sudan
This paper analyzes poverty in Sudan in 1967-68 and 1978-80 in rural and urban areas and in Khartoum and in the nation as a whole. It uses a modified version of the Foster, Greer and Thorbecke (FGT) model to estimate the number of poor people and the severity of their poverty.
