Transforming long-term post-acute care for the aging population through home infusion therapy in China
Background: China's healthcare system is confronting a rising burden of antimicrobial resistance, chronic complex diseases, and an aging population requiring long-term, post-acute care. As a value-based care model in the USA for over 50 years, home infusion therapy (HIT), combined with home health services (HHS), presents a sustainable alternative to prolonged hospitalization for intravenous medication administration. In this two-part narrative r…
Transforming long-term post-acute care for the aging population through home infusion therapy in China
Background: China's healthcare system may benefit from the integration of home infusion therapy (HIT) combined with home health services (HHS) to address the urgent need for a sustainable long-term, post-acute care model for the aging population and those with chronic complex diseases. In this Part 2, we presented the current landscape of home- and community-based care models in China and formulated recommendations for successful implementation o…

Cognitive Training with Neurofeedback Using fNirs Improves Cognitive Function in Older Adults
This study examined the effects of a 4-week cognitive training program with neurofeedback (CT-NF) among 86 healthy adults (M = 66.34 years, range 54-84) randomized to either a treatment (app-based ABC games) or control (Tetris) group. Participants completed seven cognitive assessments, pre- and post-intervention, and measured their cortical brain activity using a XB-01 functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) brain sensor, while engaging in …
Disparities in ADHD Diagnosis and Treatment by Race/Ethnicity in Youth Receiving Kentucky Medicaid in 2017

Strategic Environmental Goals and Objectives
Deep seabed mining is a major new intersection of human enterprise and deep-ocean ecosystems. This paper reviews the concept and process for a holistic approach to planning environmental management in the deep sea based on Strategic Environmental Goals and Objectives. Strategic planning around the environment can establish a vision for the future condition of the ocean floor for which the International Seabed Authority (ISA) can draw on a wealth …
A Linked Community and Health Facility Intervention to Improve Newborn Health in Cambodia
The intervention improved factors understood to be associated with newborn survival and health. Well-designed training, followed by regular supervision, enhanced the knowledge and self-reported behavior of health staff and health volunteers, as well as mothers' own knowledge of newborn danger signs. However, further improvement in newborn care, including care-seeking for illness and handwashing among mothers and families, will require additional …
