Influence of Soil Environment and Surface Vegetation on Soil Micro Flora in a Coastal Sandy Belt of Orissa, India
A total of 141 species belonging 64 genera of fungi were isolated from coastal sandy belt of Orissa. The most dominant genera were Aspergillus, Penicillium, Trichoderma and Fusarium spp. Higher fungal and bacterial population was encountered in soil B than in soil A.
