Traditional Healers and Mental Illness in the City of Ibadan
In Nigeria today, as in many other African countries, traditional healing practices exist side by side with modern medical practice (Lambo, 1959 and 1961; Lucas and Hendrickse, 1966; Harding, 1973; Ademuwagun, 1976).
