Job-Seeking and the Readjustment Allowance for Veterans
The functions of the Readjustment Allowance, a federal benefit for eligible unemployed veterans of World War II, are found by studying the attitudes and behavior of urban ex-servicemen who were unemployed when jobs were available to them.
