Chemically Dependent Mothers and Their Children
This study identified a profile of women and children from families in which maternal chemical use was either an obvious or the primary reason for referral to a public child welfare agency. Data was also collected on a comparison group of families with no indication of chemical abuse. Findings indicated that the two groups had similar problems and service needs.
