Brain Energy State in Elderly Women Living in the North
The article presents the results of a study of brain energy metabolism in elderly women living in the North. The assessment was carried out by registering brain constant potential. The level of constant potential was analyzed using a 12-channel hardware and software diagnostic complex "Neyroenergometr-coms" in the unipolar leads. Obtained characteristics of constant potential distribution were compared with the average reference information of th…
Peculiarities of Eeg and Dc-Potential of the Brain in Northern Schoolchildren
The article has presented the results of a study of the brain bioelectrical activity and cerebral energy exchange in 60 northern children aged 9-10 years (30 boys and 30 girls). Functional state of the central nervous system was assessed with use of electroencephalography and the method of the DC-potential recording. The results indicated that age development of the northern schoolchildren occurred in connection with adaptation to a complex of se…
Problem of Anxiety as Difficult Psychophysiological Phenomenon
The article has presented a review of psychophysiological approaches to consideration of the concept of “anxiety” and emotional state morphological and functional organization. There have been shown views of national and foreign scientists on the problem of determination of normal and pathological anxiety, separation of anxiety from similar emotional states, relations between the concepts “anxiety” and “alarm”, “general anxiety” and “situational …
Brain Spontaneous and Induced Electric Activity at High Level of Anxiety
In the article, the main approaches to understanding of anxiety have been considered. Modern directions of scientific research in the field of anxiety manifestations at the central level have been presented. Changes of electroencephalography results and induced potentials at high level of anxiety have been described
Transformation of Visual-Motor Activity Structure in Children With High Anxiety
In the article, there have been presented the results of the correlation and factor analysis of indicators of visual-motor activity in 230 children aged 8-10 years with the normal (144 persons) and high (86 persons) levels of anxiety. It has been established that high anxiety affected negatively the process of voluntary attention and the link of regulation and control of the senso-motor reactions course, it lead to impairment of visual-motor acti…
