  • Status Consistency and Right-Wing Extremism

    The hypothesis that right-wing extremism is a possible political response to status inconsistency is tested. The independent variable-status consistency-is measured in terms of respondents' income, occupation and education. The dependent variable of right-wing extremism is measured by a series of attitudinal items related to the political, economic and social concerns expressed by right-wing groups and their spokesmen.
