Pregnant addicts in a comprehensive care program
Findings from a follow-up survey of 100 pregnant addicts in a comprehensive care program are reported in the areas of patients' recall of problems, judgments of program helpfulness, and ratings of change in a series of life-functioning areas. Implications of the findings for care delivery are discussed

Since the 1960s, it has been applied increasingly to illicit drug use, thus standing alongside law and treatment as a major form of social control over drugs. Response of adult heroin addicts to a total therapeutic program
A voluntary program for the treatment of heroin addicts at a municipal, general hospital is described. This program has been in operation for more than two years, and emphasis is on the aftercare program, which includes vocational counseling, psychotherapy and a social club as part of a social rehabilitation.
