Factors Related to the Power of Lower Participants in Educational Organizations
This study empirically tested Mechanic's (1962) model of power of lower participants in a university setting. Mechanic's model assumes that lower participants wield power not recognized officially, and that superordinates are susceptible to the power of lower participants.
