Mucosal antibodies constitute the first line of adaptive immune defence against invaders in the female genital tract (FGT), yet the sequence of events leading to their production is surprisingly poorly characterized. This article offers a comprehensive review of the major theoretical issues and findings of the epistemic approaches to deliberative democracy. Spontaneous Self-Concept Among Chinese Undergraduates in Hong Kong
We explored spontaneous self-concept among 227 Chinese undergraduates at a university in Hong Kong. Participants' responses to the Twenty Statements Test (TST) were compared with those of North American college students from the 1950s to the 2000s. The results showed that only 13.7% of the Chinese students described themselves in terms of social roles, status, or group membership. In this paper, I examine the impact of the media on social change in a new light by investigating the effect of the circulation of information on various groups of people in which society has a keen interest. I call these groups of people social kinds, the categories used in the social sciences to gain knowledge of people and their behaviour. This study examined the relationships between personal, job, and organizational factors and perceived role conflict between physicians and nurse practitioners.
