This study analyses the main determinants of tourists’ use of technologies in a smart tourist destination. The empirical study used a sample of tourists visiting Torrevieja (Spain), a Mediterranean sun and beach destination, using structural equation modelling and a discrete choice model. Results indicated that hedonic motives and security and privacy concerns are key factors in the use of these technologies, while age has a significant negative …
