This mixed-methods study examines the marketing of, and toxic ingredients found in, common personal care products (PCPs) such as shampoos or deodorants that are sold in the United States. This qualitative study explored Black college students’ perceptions of developing their postsecondary motivation and aspirations via in-depth qualitative interviews ( N = 14).
