This paper explores how researchers can accelerate initiative’s contribution to transformative change by applying transdisciplinary action research. We analysed five interventions, collaboratively designed and implemented by …

  • Transitioning Responsibly Toward a Circular Bioeconomy

Open Access•Anne-Charlotte Hoes, Simone van der Burg et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Agricultural and…•2021•References: 8

This article reflects on the contribution that stakeholder involvement could give to circular bioeconomy transformation (CBE). • Six Guiding Principles for Evaluating Mode-2 Strategies for Sustainable Development

    Open Access•Barbara J Regeer, Anne-Charlotte Hoes et al.•ARTICLE•American Journal of Evaluation•2009•Cited by: 18•References: 20

A new generation of public programs emerges, which specifically addresses complex societal problems we witness today. Programs for these types of complex issues—in this article, we consider more closely the challenge of sustainable development—are characterized by emergent design, learning processes between diverse actors, and adaptive management. Managers of these kinds of programs have new demands for evaluation and evaluators. This article des…
