Through examining the perspectives of students within the Chinese Adult Higher Education sector, this paper investigates their motivation for gaining a degree (that many felt was undervalued) and their perceptions of credentialism in China’s post-massification era. Behavioral frequency questions are a common and important part of consumer surveys. The conventional model of how people answer such questions and how response errors occur has presumed that respondents recall and enumerate specific behavioral episodes. Psychologic stress and blood glucose levels in nondiabetic subjects
This study analyzed the effect of a standardized psychologic stressor on blood glucose levels in nondiabetic subjects. Subjects participated in a stress and nonstress session, presented in counterbalanced order. At each session, subjects were fed a carbohydrate load and blood glucose responses were measured 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 min after the load.
