Transnational Adoption and The Search for Identity and Justice Among Nepalese Adoptees in Spain
This article examines Nepalese transnational adoption, focusing on how adoptees navigate identity, confront systemic erasure and resist power structures. In critical adoption scholarship, significant attention has been devoted to the searching and returning transnational adoptee, while those who opt not to search altogether remain largely overlooked. Irregular adoptions in the Ethiopian-Spanish context
In 2018, the Ethiopian government banned intercountry adoptions due to detected irregularities.
