Premarital Sexual Permissiveness and Abortion: Standards of College Women
Premarital Sexual Permissiveness: A Research Note
This note presents a reanalysis of the Reiss Premarital Sexual Permissiveness Scale (PSP) with a two-state sample of single college women. Comparisons of our two student samples with Reiss' adult and student samples question the universality of the PSP scale. Many items have marginal frequencies which exceed acceptable limits and a distinctive difference in the pattern of ranking by students and adults emerges

Information on participation with kin, with friends, and in voluntary associations was used to test two competing hypothescs of the effects of social mobility on social relations.
