    This article presents results of ten years of monitoring of the state of preservation of an ethnographic site presumably belonging to the Evenk-Orochon people who lived in this part of the Upper Amur region a few decades ago.     This year, field studies of the dynamics of ethnic-cultural development in the Shilka Basin in ancient times and the early medieval period have been continued.     Results of electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) of ceramics from various sites in the Russian Far East, Sakhalin, and Japan are discussed. The proportions of the principal chemical elements (Ca–K–SiO2, K–Ca–Na, Mg–Fe–Ti) in the clay paste are shown by means of 3-D plots.
