    In a continuing effort to utilize two‐way radio contacts as a means of generating conversational skills in the foreign language class, a treasure hunt game using hand‐held walkie‐talkie radios has been developed and implemented at the Georgia Institute of Technology.   • Vowel Approximation Through Visual Display

    This article describes a prototype electronic device which is used in the foreign language classroom or laboratory to visually display pedagogical models and student articulations of target language sounds in real‐time. The sounds are displayed on the face of an oscilloscope cathode‐ray tube (CRT).
