Prosecuting Soviet genocide: Comparing the politics of criminal justice in the Baltic states
This study compares the politics of post-Soviet retrospective criminal justice processes in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania after 1991. Taking an institutionalist approach, it pays particular attention to the interactions between judicial and non-judicial institutions in the search for truth and justice, and analyses how the nature of this interaction determines processes of historical narrative framing and remembering in the public domain.
