  • Impact of mass drug administration with Ivermectin, Diethylcarbamazine, and Albendazole in elimination of lymphatic filariasis in five districts of Nepal

Open Access•Ram Kumar Mahato, Gokarna Dahal et al.•ARTICLE•PLOS Global Public Health•2026

Nepal aims to eliminate lymphatic filariasis (LF) by 2030. Mass drug administration (MDA) has ceased in 53 of the 64 endemic districts. Following failure to pass the pre-Transmission Assessment Survey of antigenemia prevalence, five districts completed two rounds of MDA using a three-drug regimen (Ivermectin, Diethylcarbamazine, and Albendazole; IDA) and achieved over 65% coverage of the total population in 2023 and 2024. An Epidemiological Monit…

  • Integrating Environmental Context into DHS Analysis While Protecting Participant Confidentiality

Open Access•Kelly Grace, Kathryn Grace et al.•ARTICLE•Population and Development Review•2019•Cited by: 16•References: 26

  • The DHS Program's Modeled Surfaces Spatial Datasets

    Open Access•Clara R Burgert‐brucker, Trinadh Dontamsetti et al.•ARTICLE•Studies in Family Planning•2018•Cited by: 1•References: 2

Spatially interpolated map surface datasets for key development indicators are being produced and publicly shared using population‐based surveys from the USAID‐funded Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) Program. Each modeled surface is produced with standardized geostatistical modeling methods. For each indicator, a package is available that includes spatial raster grids of 5 × 5 km pixels for the point estimate surface and an uncertainty surface…
