    This article seeks to broaden the study of Euroscepticism by developing a basic system of analysis for investigating civil‐society‐based opposition to European integration. Existing studies of Euroscepticism have almost exclusively focused on examining political parties and, as a result, theoretical approaches to understanding opposition to European integration have been strongly influenced by the party‐based literature.     Ireland was the only EU member state to hold a referendum to ratify the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union (otherwise known as the Fiscal Compact Treaty) on 31 May 2012.   • Duolocal residence and gender relations in urban domestic water supply: Understanding the Ga in contemporary Ghana

    This case study employed a qualitative methodology to examine gender relations in urban domestic water supply under duolocality where heterogeneous spouses live in separate residences. It is based on the experiences of the Ga of Ghana at the present time (2011–present), with James Town as the study area.     Understanding complexity suggests that some problems are more complex than others and defy conventional solutions. These wicked problems will not be solved by the same tools and processes that are complicit in creating them. Neither will they be resolved by approaches short on explicating the complex interconnections of the multiple causes, consequences, and cross-scale actors of the problem.     Ireland held a re‐run of the Lisbon Treaty referendum on 2 October 2009. In response to the Treaty's rejection by referendum in June 2008 the government secured legal guarantees on: a commissioner for each member state, taxation, neutrality, social issues, and workers' rights.
