Psychological Androgyny and Social Competence

The Effects of Interaction Distance and Gender on Self-Disclosure in the Dyad
We realized a compact Silicon Nitride chip for optically reconfigurable time delays for K-band (17-22 GHz) radio satellite terminals beam-steering. Using 16-QAM 64-OFDM subcarriers we achieved 10 Gbps transmission capacity
Sex Differences as Artifact in the Prisoner's Dilemma Game
Female subject pairs have often been found to compete more than either male pairs or mixed sex pairs in the Prisoner's Dilemma (PD) game. It was hypothesized that sex differences in the PD were in part a function of the sex of the experimenter. Three males and three females served as experimenters. The hypothesis was supported for, although females evidenced higher competition with male Es, no sex differences were found with female Es. Female sub…

Technology for Organizational Training in Schools
We describe some training designs, exercises, and procedures that have been used in laboratory training for organizational development in schools. We have selected and developed these methods over some years to serve as components in a training strategy that focusses on teaching, legitimizing, and making normative a specific procedure for group problem-solving. A vital adjunct is training in specific skills in face-to-face communication. These pr…
Theory to Guide Organizational Training in Schools
We do not believe that the T-group is a vital tool for refurbishing organizational life. We present theoretical reasons for believing that organizational training to improve organizational functioning must help participants to function more effectively as components of working bodies carrying out specific tasks in a particular job-setting. We present a sequence of three steps useful in interventions, drawing upon actual examples of interventions …
