Majano de Borde (Deza, Soria). Un nuevo abrigo del Paleolítico superior en el valle del río Henar
Se presenta el reciente descubrimiento de un nuevo yacimiento paleolítico localizado en término municipal de Deza, provincia de Soria, emplazado en la margen izquierda del valle del río Henar, afluente del Jalón. El yacimiento ha proporcionado una importante industria lítica elaborada en sílex, en la que destaca la presencia de raspadores y buriles, cuyas características técnicas permiten encuadrarla en el Paleolítico superior.
A quarry for the construction of a Roman camp next to the Celtiberian city of Deza during the Sertorian Wars (Soria, Spain)
Through an interdisciplinary investigation, a hastily exploited individual quarry of limestone is studied.
