This paper examines the musical variations of the phet, a Tibetan word sung in chod dbyangs chants practiced specifically by the Kagyu sect. The repertoire of dbyangs chants, a genre of Tibetan Buddhist vocal music, is vast in Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
