Cilj je ovoga priloga doprijeti do višeslojnoga susreta pretkršćanskoga i kršćanskoga svijeta na krajnjem istoku Hrvatske – u zapadnom Srijemu, posebno u Bapskoj i njezinoj okolici, ali i u fruškogorskom kraju u istočnom Srijemu.
