This paper explores the permeability of imagined boundaries between Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel who work together as medics in Israel. The article presents an analysis of lay political reasoning on the U.K. EU referendum drawing on data from nine focus groups conducted in England in the few weeks preceding the vote. Participants were from across the political spectrum and with varied voting intentions in the upcoming referendum (Remain, Leave, and some undecided). This paper examines the role of interpretations of historical events when discussing the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, by those with a lived experience of it. The research literature relating to representations of collective memory and perceived intractable conflict is presented before discussing how a theoretical lens of dialogicality, through exploring the role of themata, can add to the discussion. The role of historical representations in Israeli-Palestinian relations
This study focuses on narratives of historical events that were discussed during open ended interviews about conflict and coexistence within Israeli-Palestinian relations. Jewish Israelis and Palestinians living in London often used historical events as a way of justifying a positioning of a perspective that was felt to be central to the conflict and its possible resolution. Elevated Oestrogen Receptor Splice Variant ERαΔ5 Expression in Tumour-adjacent Hormone-responsive Tissue
Susceptibility to prostate or endometrial cancer is linked with obesity, a state of oestrogen excess. Oestrogen receptor (ER) splice variants may be responsible for the tissue-level of ER activity. Such micro-environmental regulation may modulate cancer initiation and/or progression mechanisms. Excavations at Pluscarden Priory, Moray
This report, prefaced by a brief history of Pluscarden Priory, and by a description of the church, describes excavations on the western side of the Priory. Features investigated include the western end of the nave, a series of burials, a stone-lined pit containing a rich organic deposit, and walls associated with the medieval monastic complex. The excavation was arranged and funded by Historic Scotland

In the year 1857 Sir Charles Nicholson returned to London after a visit to Upper Egypt, where he had made a large collection of objects of antiquarian interest, including several stelae, sepulchral inscriptions, papyri, and inscribed linen cloth. Amongst the latter was one containing, in hieroglyphic writing, a part of the 129th chapter of the Book of the Dead. The document is itself of no particular interest. It presents a few new homophons.
