Beyond Traditional Risk Scores
Tax Incentives and Older Workers
We present empirical evidence on the effectiveness of a tax policy designed to boost employment among older workers in Quebec, Canada. To evaluate its impact on employment and earnings, we draw on multiple data sources and use a range of identification strategies. The impact of parental benefits on disadvantaged households
Over the past 25 years, the Government of Quebec (Canada) has introduced a number of relatively novel policies aimed at fighting poverty such as the Universal Child Care Program (UCCP) in 1997 and the Quebec Parental Insurance Program (QPIP) in 2006. A Test of the Unitary and Collective Models of Household Labour Supply
This paper tests the unitary and the collective household labour supply models within a structural framework. A nonlinear unrestricted household labour supply system is postulated and the set of parametric restrictions imposed by each model is derived.
