Possible consequences of increasing life expectancy in Brazil: The perspective of a European historical demographer
Those over sixty years of age accounted for 6.6% of the total population of Brazil in 1985, in the Federal Republic of Germany this proportion was 20.3% in 1984. As early as 1950 it had been 14.5%.
