Lean has become known as a concept for identifying value, creating a focus on flow, and reduction of waste within organizational business processes. Lean, although developed in the manufacturing industry, has seen uptake in service organizations both private and public. All industries have met with the challenge of a Lean approach which is engaging with both the technical and, cultural and behavioral aspects.
