The Roman Fort at Lanchester, Co. Durham: A Geophysical Survey and Discussion of Garrisons
A geophysical survey of the whole of the auxiliary fort at Lanchester, Co. Durham, produced unprecedented images of individual buildings and the overall layout of the site interior. The combination of the detail of individual structures and the overall scope of the survey permit a discussion of the garrisons of the fort in the light of epigraphic and structural evidence.
