The Architecture of the Ancient Greek Theatre
Isthmia
The Sanctuary of Poseidon is located on the Isthmus of Corinth, 10 miles (16 km) east of the city, on an ancient road linking Corinth and the sea.
Isthmian Games
The Isthmian Games, held biennially in spring, under the direction of Corinth, gained Panhellenic status sometime between 582 (Solinus 7.14) and the mid–sixth century bce , when the sanctuary of Apollo expanded and dedications increased.
