  • Using Graphs Instead of Tables in Political Science

    Jonathan P Kastellec, Eduardo L Leoni•ARTICLE•Perspectives on Politics•2007•Cited by: 82•References: 31

When political scientists present empirical results, they are much more likely to use tables than graphs, despite the fact that graphs greatly increases the clarity of presentation and makes it easier for a reader to understand the data being used and to draw clear and correct inferences. Using a sample of leading journals, we document this tendency and suggest reasons why researchers prefer tables. We argue that the extra work required in produc…

  • Institutional Context, Cognitive Resources and Party Attachments Across Democracies

    Open Access•John D Huber, Georgia Kernell et al.•ARTICLE•Political Analysis•2005•Cited by: 75•References: 28

Open Access•Eduardo Leoni, Eduardo L Leoni et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Latin American Studies•2004•Cited by: 12

We developed a model that focuses on the determinants of political career choices by incumbent federal deputies in the 1998 Brazilian elect…

Sustentamo…
