  • Do red and blue colors in marketing contexts have differential effects on consumer attitudes and behaviors? Evidence from meta-analysis and experiments

    摘要: 色彩作为重要的感官营销线索, 一直受到学界和企业的广泛关注。红色和蓝色是营销实践中最常用的两类对比色, 但已有研究关于二者效应的结论并不一致, 且鲜有研究区分其对消费者态度反应和行为反应的影响差异。本文基于双系统加工理论, 构建四象限理论模型, 解释蓝色(vs.红色)影响消费者态度反应和行为反应的背后机理。本文的元分析对检索到的51篇文章共156个效应值使用多水平分层线性模型(HLM)进行元分析, 结果发现, 与红色相比, 蓝色积极影响消费者态度反应(r = 0.11)和行为反应(r = 0.08), 且态度反应大于行为反应。同时, 元分析检验了四类变量(影响情感类、影响理性类、同时影响情感和理性类、不影响情感和理性类)如何调节红蓝色彩对消费者态度反应与行为反应的不一致。随后, 一项线上实验为上述不一致影响的背后机理提供了进一步的实验性证据。本文协调了红蓝色彩效应的分歧结论, 揭示了红蓝色彩影响消费者态度与行为反应的差异化原因及机理, 为色彩心理学、联结主义理论和双系统加工理论补…

    摘要: 为考察3~5岁儿童一级观点采择的行为表现与言语报告之间的潜在差异, 本研究采用“单面镜”范式设计了两个实验。实验1中, 54名儿童成对与实验者一起完成观点采择游戏, 逻辑回归分析结果表明3-5岁儿童的行为表现不存在显著差异(B = -0.225, Wald = 0.38, p = 0.541)。方差分析也没有发现儿童的行为表现和言语报告存在差异。由于实验1中的编码系统存在一些局限, 并且缺少对儿童偏好的控制, 因此在实验2中进行了改进。实验2选择了另外60名3~5岁儿童完成藏玩具游戏。方差分析发现了实验范式类型(行为表现或言语报告)、年龄和性别的三因素交互作用(F (2, 48) = 3.55, p = 0.037, η2 = 0.13)。结果表明随着年龄增加, 男孩与女孩一级观点采择的行为表现都显著提高, 而男孩言语报告的提高程度显著低于女孩。总体而言, 考察儿童一级观点采择时, 行为表现可能比言语报告提供更多信息
