Roman-indigenous interaction in the Salas River valley (Northwest Iberia): The Roman camp of Alto da Raia and its archaeological landscape
This paper discusses the archaeological research and historical contextualisation of the Alto da Raia enclosure located on the border between northern Portugal and Galicia, identified as a possible Roman camp, following an interdisciplinary and multi-proxy approach. This included archaeological excavation, remote sensing and geophysical survey, as well as sample collection for archaeobotanical and geochemical studies by means of chemical and mine…

Mine d’étain et atelier métallurgique d’As Muradellas (Baltar, Espagne): Bilan des recherches préliminaires 2021‐2022
Données scientifiques produites :As Muradellas (Baltar, Ourense) Introduction Le site d’As Muradellas (fig.
Later prehistoric tin mining in the Ervedosa mine (Vinhais, Portugal): Evidence and Context
Mining in South‐west Gaul at the Crossroads of the Celtic and Mediterranean Worlds. The Case of the Mining Area of the Arize Mountains (Central Pyrenees) During the Fourth and Third Centuries Bc
This paper presents new data about the silver‐bearing copper mining area of the Arize (Central Pyrenees) during the fourth and third centuries BC. The identification of amphorae sherds from Magna Graecia and the Strait of Gibraltar region sheds new light on this metal production and confirms a systematic exploration of the ores before the end of the third century BC. At a regional scale, the existence of several mines operating between the fourth…
