This article explores the factors that influence intentions to stay in Armenia among different groups of young newcomers (aged 18-35), including ethnic Armenians displaced from Syria and Artsakh. As such, it contributes to a small body of literature on return migration to and integration in the Republic of Armenia. This article presents the findings from a recent study funded by the Nuffield Foundation, which aimed to provide insights into the experiences of young people and teachers in secondary schools across Scotland under the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE). Our research has uncovered a decrease in the number of National Qualifications entries in S4 under CfE, a phenomenon commonly referred to in Scotland as ‘curriculum narrowing.’ Furthermore, we have …

Parental beliefs about young children’s leisure activity involvement
The primary goals of the current study were to examine parental beliefs about the benefits of leisure activities for their young children and to explore how these beliefs were related to their children’s participation in leisure activities. Parents (n = 570) of children (aged 3 to 7-years-old) reported on their children’s behavioral (i.e., frequency, breadth) and psychological engagement in their leisure activities, and a subset provided ratings …

We ask whether internal migration and residential mobility for contemporary dual‐earner couples has negative consequences for the stability of their partnership and investigate whether any negative changes in partners' employment characteristics following family migration are associated with higher risks of dissolution of their unions.
