  • Collaborative spirit: Understanding distributed leadership practices in and around teacher teams

Open Access•A De Jong, WA de Jong et al.•ARTICLE•Teaching and Teacher Education•2022•References: 8

While the effects of distributed leadership are widely studied, how to understand this practice in sociocultural contexts is relatively unknown. Mostly only one contextual level – such as the school level – is studied. We included individual, team, and school levels, and investigated differences in distributed leadership among 14 collaborative innovation-oriented teacher teams (130–168 teachers and their principals). Using a mixed-method design, …

  • Social Constructionism and Theology

    A De Jong, C A M Hermans et al.•BOOK•Social Constructionism and Theology•2002

Scholars of practical theology are increasingly regarding the discipline as one whose scope extends beyond the bounds of an applied theology. The concept of action, or practice, plays a central role in this new understanding. At the base of theological reflections by scholars of practical theology are the practices, and these are analyzed empirically. The aim of the discipline is to transform these practices and develop a hermeneutical action the…

  • Abstracts of the 7th International AMS Conference

    Open Access•J Acquadro, G Santos et al.•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•1996•Cited by: 1•References: 1

The AMS program at the S. Paulo 9MV Tandem accelerator has been initiated with major emphasis on projects based on the determination of 10Be, 26Al and 36C1 concentrations

  • A Method for Quantifying Deep-Sea Carbonate Dissolution Using 14 C Dating

    Open Access•S A Van Kreveld, G M Ganssen et al.•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•1995•References: 23

We quantified the rate of carbonate dissolution with increasing water depth by taking the difference in the carbonate mass accumulation rate of deep (3393–4375 m) core top sediments from the shallowest one (3208 m), which we assumed was unaffected by dissolution. This method depends on high quality 14 C dates that we calibrated to calendar years for calculating sedimentation rates. Our results show low (ranging from 0 to 0.3 g cm −2 ka −1 ) and h…
