This study presents an analysis of sexual regulations among Jehovah's Witnesses and the Lubavitcher Hassidim by focusing upon the processes of sacralization, instrumentalization and domestication. In both cases, sexuality (especially that of women) symbolizes impurity in nature and the external world.
