    Furthering his approach to classifying and interpreting epigraphical data in his earlier work, the author here studies the inscriptions from the time of Philip of Macedon, Alexander the Great, Demosthenes and Demetrios. He shows how the handwriting of individual stonecutters can be identified. Detailed study of the hands in this largest group of primary documents has enabled the author to offer a number of insights, such as reassessing the career…
