This article presents the results of a survey of 99 practitioners that explored their attitudes related to the conflicting priorities of maintaining the principles of confidentiality, versus exercising one's duty to warn someone of danger. Women Social Workers' Beliefs and Treatment Strategies
This article describes a study that explored the personal beliefs of 116 female social workers about male-female relationships, and their treatment strategies in working with female clients in relation to three philosophical paradigms: the feminist, the psychological, and the retrofeminist. Popular Advice to Women
This article examines the ways in which the feminist perspective is being eroded in the popular culture through self-help books for women. It discusses two models of such books—the psychological and the retrofeminist. Both models represent a retraction of the feminist ideal of equality and mutuality in relationships.
