How Neofascism Emerges from Neoliberal Capitalism
In this article we argue that neofascism has emerged from the crisis of neoliberal capitalism. We begin by locating neofascism within the contemporary dynamics of capitalist crisis, including the legitimacy crisis of the capitalist state, the relationship between neofascist ideology and capitalist political coalitions, and the similarities and differences between neofascism and earlier varieties of fascism. Corporate Power, Class Conflict, and the Crisis of the New Globalization
Transnational corporations have used their market and political power in the U.S., the European Union and Japan to expand global production on terms that are highly favorable to corporate interests. Cox examines how corporations have internationalized production by working directly with political elites to establish terms of investment and trade that facilitate work…

Towards a General Theory of International Organization
Despite the disclaimer in his preface, Ernst B. Haas has in this book come close to advancing a general theory of international organization. One can sympathize with the desire not to proclaim the event; as with Hegel's system, there always remains something to be finished. Yet the work is on this level of importance, and should be judged as such. Haas's point of departure is the classical exposition of the functionalist approach to international…
