  • Anxiety, Physical Attractiveness, and Likeability of Personality in Mental Retardates

    The hypothesis that female admissions to a hospital for the mentally retarded should be more deviant among females in general (on factors other than IQ) than male admissions are among males in general is studied in more detail. Cross-classifying the sample by sex and IQ, the hypothesis is generally supported for manifest anxiety and physical attractiveness but not for likeability of personality.
