  • The impact of species invasion and nutrient dynamics on organic carbon burial in lake ecosystems

Open Access•Dandan Yang, Taohui Li et al.•ARTICLE•Anthropocene•2025•References: 30

  • Montane peat bog records of vegetation, climate, and human impacts in Fujian Province, China, over the last 1330 years

Open Access•Yun Zhu, Guoliang Lei et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2019

  • Climate of the late Pleistocene and early Holocene in coastal South China inferred from submerged wood samples

Open Access•Keyan Fang, Binggui Cai et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2017

  • Mid-late Holocene climate variations in southeast China inferred by the intermountain peat records from Fujian, China

Open Access•Guoliang Lei, Yun Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2017

  • A regional record of expanded Holocene wetlands and prehistoric human occupation from paleowetland deposits of the western Yarlung Tsangpo valley, southern Tibetan Plateau

    Open Access•Adam M Hudson, John W Olsen et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2016

The Asian Monsoon, which brings ~80% of annual precipitation to much of the Tibetan Plateau, provides runoff to major rivers across the Asian continent. Paleoclimate records indicate summer insolation and North Atlantic paleotemperature changes forced variations in monsoon rainfall through the Holocene, resulting in hydrologic and ecologic changes in plateau watersheds. We present a record of Holocene hydrologic variability in the Yarlung Tsangpo…

  • Intra-seasonal variability of teak tree-ring cellulose δ 18 O from northwestern Thailand

    Open Access•Chotika Maungsong, Chotika Muangsong et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2016•Cited by: 1•References: 3

Thailand has been regarded as a transition zone between the Indian and western North Pacific monsoons which produce most of the precipitation in this area and sustain large-scale agricultural activities. Their different moisture sources and associated transport trajectories could result in distinguishable seasonal variations in rainfall oxygen isotopes (δ 18 O). Knowledge about seasonal variability in Thailand monsoon could facilitate agricultura…

  • Lake Level Reconstruction for 12.8–2.3 ka of the Ngangla Ring Tso Closed-Basin Lake System, Southwest Tibetan Plateau

    Open Access•Adam M Hudson, Jay Quade et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary Research•2015

We present a shoreline-based, millennial-scale record of lake-level changes spanning 12.8–2.3 ka for a large closed-basin lake system on the southwestern Tibetan Plateau. Fifty-three radiocarbon and eight U–Th series ages of tufa and beach cement provide age control on paleoshorelines ringing the basin, supplemented by nineteen ages from shell and aquatic plant material from natural exposures generally recording lake regressions. Our results show…

  • Oxygen and carbon isotope patterns archived in shells of the aquatic gastropod Radix

Open Access•Linda Taft, Uwe Wiechert et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2013

  • Biomarkers of modern plants and soils from Xinglong Mountain in the transitional area between the Tibetan and Loess Plateaus

Open Access•Guoliang Lei, Hucai Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2010
